BAS/DDC Controls Programmer

The primary responsibilities of this position are:
- Configure and program main plant, unitary and application-specific controllers.
- Create network area controller databases including control logic, alarm handling, historical trend logs, etc.
- Create system graphics (Webpages).
- Configure communication networks.
- Integrate third-party devices using open protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, etc.
- Commission control applications and perform system(s) start-up as part of a team.
- Owner training.
The position requires previous BAS/DDC experience, strong written and oral communication skills, leadership skills, organizational skills, attention to detail, soft people skills and a cooperative attitude.

BAS/DDC Controls Technician

CAREER opportunity in the “high-tech” field of Building Automation System (BAS)/Direct Digital Control (DDC) systems.
The primary responsibilities of this position are:
- Installation of building automation systems used to control HVAC, lighting and energy use in commercial, institutional and industrial facilities
- Mount and terminate field devices (i.e. sensors, relays, actuators, transmitters, etc.)
- Install pre-programmed main plant, unitary and application-specific controllers and terminate
- Point-to-Point Commissioning
- System commissioning/start-up as part of a team
- Warranty service
- Participate in project “turn-over” and “close-out” meetings as an integral part of the construction team
The following are requirements of the position; experience in the BAS/DDC field, strong desire to continue learn a technical field and establish a career, maturity, strong oral and written communication skills, valid and clear driver’s license.
Hourly wage: $38.54 – $44.65, dependent on experience.

Project Manager
Building Automation System (BAS)/Direct Digital Controls (DDC)

The primary responsibilities of the position are:
- Manage multiple construction projects
- Anticipate manpower needs and schedule accordingly.
- Assign project teams
- Assist with recruiting field personnel
- Recruit and manage subcontractors
- Perform bi-weekly site visits (active projects)
- Interact daily/weekly with construction teams
- Participate in on-site pre-bid and pre-construction meetings
- Participate in on-site construction progress meetings
- Conduct in-house “project turn-over” meetings with project teams
- Conduct in-house project close-out/review meetings
- Respond to construction bulletins and change order requests
- Prepare monthly pay requests
- Review/approve material orders
Secondary responsibilities include:
- Prepare estimates
- Engineer BAS/DDC systems
- Review and approve submittals
- Prepare bills of material, review and approval.
- Prepare Operation & Maintenance Manuals and close-out projects
The position requires previous BAS/DDC or HVAC experience OR a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, strong written and oral communication skills, leadership skills, organizational skills, attention to detail and soft people skills.

Electrician – Journeyman

CAREER opportunity for an electrician in the “high-tech” field of Building Automation System (BAS)/Direct Digital Control (DDC) systems.
The primary responsibilities of this position are:
- Installation of building automation systems used to control HVAC, lighting and energy use in commercial, institutional and industrial facilities
- Supervise installation teams and/or subcontractors
- Provide direction, training and mentorship to apprentices
- System commissioning
Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to; participate in on-site construction meetings, daily interaction with building operators, contractors, consultants, participate in project “turn-over” and “close-out” meetings, etc.
The following are requirements of the position; strong desire to learn a technical field and establish a career, maturity, strong oral and written communication skills, valid and clear driver’s license.
Master electrician license preferred but not required.
Hourly wage: $38.54 – $42.50, dependent on experience and licenses carried.
